They reviewed Omani–Eritrean relations and discussed ways to enhance them and broaden the scope of joint cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

The meeting was attended by Minister Plenipotentiary Mohammed bin Shams Al Shamsi, and from Eritrea, Ambassador Hassan Saad Al Hashemi, Director of the Africa and Middle East Department at the Eritrean Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
