Connection to case from North Rhine-Westphalia

According to the Koblenz police headquarters, the body was found on November 28th by a hiker in a wooded area near Monreal in the Mayen-Koblenz district. It was missing its head and hands.
A connection was quickly established to a case in North Rhine-Westphalia. In mid-November, severed women's hands were found on the A45 near Olpe . Using fingerprints, the police were able to identify the hands as belonging to a 32-year-old woman from Eritrea. A forensic examination revealed that the hands had been severed after the woman's death.
The woman and her three-month-old child were registered at an asylum accommodation center in Bonn. According to police, she left the center on November 16th; her whereabouts are unknown. The baby was found unharmed in a stroller in front of a monastery in Waldsolms, Hesse, on November 16th .
