Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis had successive meetings with his counterparts from Brazil and Eritrea on Friday, on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
Meeting Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira, they discussed bilateral cooperation between Greece and Brazil, relations between Brazil and the European Union and the prospects for stronger interregional cooperation, as well as global current affairs and security issues.
With his Eritrean counterpart Osman Saleh, they again discussed bilateral relations and how to further strengthen cooperation between Greece and Eritrea, as well as exchanging views on international developments and especially the situation in the Red Sea and the Horn of Africa.
