Israel’s Genocide of the Gazans Documented by Israeli Historians

Lee Mordechai is one of the two historians at Hebrew University in Jerusalem (the other being Amos Goldberg) who have publicly declared that their Government is committing genocide to eliminate the Gazans, and Mordechai’s is the most extensively documented case on this matter that has yet been published, which he does at his online site, “Bearing Witness to the Israel-Gaza War”. His 124-page pdf with that title provides the documentation with 1,400 footnotes, and opens with a “Summary” which says:

The paragraphs of this executive summary contain the summary of much longer sections below, a paragraph for each section. Each section below includes dozens to hundreds of references that lead to the supporting evidence upon which I base my assessment. This version of the document greatly expands upon the previous version from June 18, 2024 by adding much content and evidence to existing sections, adding new sections (an appendix on methodology and a focus on the Oct.-Nov. 2024 campaign in northern Gaza) as well as responding to the discussion it initiated. Due to the sheer amount of material and the expansion of the war, I move in this version from updating the entire document at once to a model that updates sections separately, starting from the beginning of the document. …

Israel has actively attempted to cause the death of the civilian population of Gaza. Israel has created famine in Gaza as a de facto policy and used it as a weapon of war, resulting in the confirmed deaths of dozens of civilians (mainly children) from starvation. Israel created shortages of water, medicine and electricity. Israel has also dismantled Gaza’s health system and Gaza’s civilian infrastructure. As a result, more people die from treatable conditions and difficult medical procedures such as amputations and caesareans are conducted without anesthesia. The overall mortality in Gaza is unknown, but is almost certainly much higher than the official death toll. 

Israeli discourse has de-humanized Palestinians to such an extent that the vast majority of Israeli Jews supports the aforementioned measures.

His update was issued on December 5th but the corrupt International Criminal Court (which now has its case for the conviction served to them on a platter by Mordechai) appears to be waiting for the genocide-job to be completed before announcing its by-now-inevitable conviction of Benjamin Netanyahu and of Yoav Gallant, Israel's former defense minister (but not of Israel’s current defense minister nor of any other member of Israel’s Government, nor of Joe Biden, Antony Blinken, and other members of the U.S. Government which has committed itself to supplying Israel with all of the weaponry and ammunition that it will request in order to finish this job). Because the ICC is corrupt (beholden to the U.S. Government that doesn’t even participate in nor even recognize it), this Court had likewise charged Muhammad Deif, Hamas' military chief (included presumably to provide ‘balance’), whom Israel says it killed in August — it charged Deif as-if his having killed and abducted fewer than 1,500 Israelis on 7 October 2023 was really to blame for Israel’s now exterminating the 2.3 million Gazans (and thus constitutes some type of excuse for it — like Hitler’s forces were claiming for their atrocities). But, now that Israel has killed Deif, there will apparently be ONLY those two Israelis who will be convicted for the largest genocide after the one against Jews, the Holocaust: this Israeli-American genocide in Gaza.

Hebrew University’s Professor Mordechai’s historical account of this genocide is receiving more attention from the public than did Hebrew University’s Professor Amos’s vastly more succinct summary presentation of the case (heard here spoken by Dr. Goldberg). I suggest reading and thinking about Dr. Amos’s written summary first, and, then, if you need to see the evidence, reading and considering Dr. Mordechai’s pdf presentation of that full case. And then you can consider whether all of the anti-anti-BDS (Boycott, Divest, Sanction) University and College officials who are suppressing or even punishing students who are against this genocide, should be expelled from their offices, and whether those institutions’ megadonors who have been behind this suppression of America’s Constitutionally guaranteed First-Amendment rights ought to be dispossessed and/or imprisoned for having thereby committed or failed to stop this treason against the U.S. Constitution (its First Amendment) that was perpetrated by their agents. After all, those principals are the American beneficiaries of this genocide and they control the co-conspirator U.S. Government part of it to make the genocide possible and to complete the job.

Furthermore, as RFK Jr. said (backing up Biden on this matter),

Israel is critical, and the reason it’s critical is that it’s the bulwark for us in the mid-east; it’s almost like an aircraft carrier in the mid-east, Israel is our ambassador, it’s our presence, it’s our beachhead in the mid-east; it gives us ears, eyes in the mid-east, it gives us intelligence; it gives us the capacity to take influence in affairs in the mid-east. If Israel disappeared, Russia and China would be controlling and they’d control 90% of the world’s oil supply, and that would be cataclysmic to national security.

That’s how bad America’s Government really is — its evilness is bipartisan. This is a fairly recent reality. This evilness started with a supremely fateful decision that President Truman made on 25 July 1945. He later also created the state of Israel on 14 May 1948, despite this already being a racist-fascist nation that he was thereby producing, which Truman ‘legitimated’ despite its being based upon massive theft. And that fool did it because he took the Bible to be a book of history and NOT myth, and because it said that God had given Israel to the Jews and commanded them to exterminate the Palestinians there. In both regards, Truman reversed what had been the intention of his immediate predecessor, FDR. One should not blame America’s Founders and the Constitution for the American Government that we have after 25 July 1945. (However, just as there have been strong psychopathic elements in every nation since its founding, that was likewise the case at the time of founding the U.S.)  It’s a fundamentally different and far worse country since 1945. It’s controlled by only the billionaires, and it is by far the world’s worst violator of international law. None of this comes from the U.S. Constitution; all of it comes from American international gangsters who control this Government since 25 July 1945. It’s not a foreign aristocracy like at the time of America’s first Revolutionary War, against England’s aristocracy; it is instead a domestic U.S. aristocracy, which harms and endangers the publics everywhere. And Israel was established by Truman as their chief colony in the Middle East, and fulfills that function for them. Truman was manipulated by their agents. The only way that the Government Truman created (reflecting the advices of both Winston Churchill and General Eisenhower) on 25 July 1945 could be overthrown, would be via a Second American Revolution. It would succeed ONLY if the plan that FDR had (opposing both Churchill and Eisenhower), will replace the one installed by Truman, which was designed to ultimately take over the entire world (and is now in the late stages of that endeavor, and so brings us closer to a WW3 than ever before).

The war in Ukraine likewise reflects this same hyper-imperialistic, UK/U.S., plan to control the entire world, and a recent news-report regarding that, is:

He confirms other accounts that it is the West - specifically "the Americans with their British allies" -  that "pulled the plug on the negotiations" when they were "on the edge" of succeeding. He says they did so because they thought it was too early and they wanted to "first weaken Russia".

As he describes it, he found the decision "deeply immoral" because "it was clear at that time that if the war continued there would be an escalation and the dead would be at least in the tens of thousands, more likely in the hundreds of thousands". 

He asks, rhetorically: "why did all these people die?" because now "they may have weakened Russia but they weakened the whole West at the same time, maybe not the Americans but certainly Europe." Also, if a peace deal was done today, it would still "pretty much be based on what was negotiated in Istanbul", assuming the Russians are still willing, a tall order given he's "not so sure that the Russians are prepared to compromise today."
