U.S. Government Denies the History of the Ukraine War

America’s Associated Press refers to the Shangri-La defense forum in Singapore as “Asia’s premier security conference”. The U.S. Secretary of Defense gave a speech there on June 1st and said something very important, but it wasn’t reported in any of the U.S.-and-allied news media. It was, however, reported by one Russian-Government news-medium. In this exchange, the U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin was speaking in response to an assertion by a Chinese journalist, Cao Yanzhong, who had stated that the “eastern expansion of NATO has led to the Ukraine crisis.” Austin disagreed; he replied “I respectfully disagree with your point that the expansion of NATO caused the Ukraine crisis. The Ukraine crisis obviously was caused because Mr. Putin made a decision to unlawfully invade his neighbor.” That crucial exchange was reported only by Russia’s RT News (“NATO expansion not to blame for Ukraine conflict – US defense chief”), which failed to point out that what Mr. Austin said there is blatantly false, and that what the Chinese journalist said that had sparked Austin’s reply was demonstrably and unequivocally true though the U.S. Government had denied its being true, and has always denied its being true. Though no U.S.-and-allied ‘news’-medium reported either statement — Cao’s or Austin’s — that statement by the U.S. Government, and which it routinely repeats, is a lie that has now brought the U.S. and Russia to the brink of WW3 over Ukraine, but which nonetheless none of the mainstream press has ever reported to be actually a blatant historical lie by the U.S. Government.
This is similar to the situation that produced America’s entirely lie-based invasion and military occupation of Iraq in 2003. Even after the U.S. invaded Iraq and failed to find any of the “weapons of mass destruction” that it constantly said were being hidden from the international weapons-inspectors who said they were finding none there and the U.S. Government then ordered the international weapons inspectors out of Iraq because the U.S. and its allies were going to invade there and find those WMD, and none were ever found there, nor had been there ever since 1998, never did the press ever say that the U.S. Government had baldfacedly lied in order to ‘justify’ invading and militarily occupying Iraq.
And this time around, it isn’t about the U.S. Government’s lying in order to ‘justify’ invading and militarily occupying Iraq, but instead it is about its lying in order to ‘justify’ its invading and militarily occupying Russia, which would mean WW3 and the destruction of this entire planet. Nonetheless, yet again, and still, the world’s mainstream press isn’t reporting that the U.S. Government and its allies are blatantly and baldfacedly lying in order to ‘justify’ an invasion, but, this time, one that — if they go through with it — will destroy the entire planet: World War Three.
So, this time around, this journalist will report and document — by providing links to the sources so that the reader here will be able to verify on one’s own that all of the following does, in fact, report only historical truth, no lies whatsoever — that what the Chinese journalist said in that exchange was 100% historically accurate, and that what the U.S. Secretary of Defense said there was yet another baldfaced and historically entirely inaccurate lie by the U.S. Government:
When Austin said “I respectfully disagree with your point that the expansion of NATO caused the Ukraine crisis. The Ukraine crisis obviously was caused because Mr. Putin made a decision to unlawfully invade his neighbor,” he was alleging that Ukraine’s war started when Russia invaded it on 24 Febrary 2022. Both Jens Stoltenberg, NATO’s chief, and Volodmyr Zelensky, Ukraine’s President have clearly denied the U.S. allegation:
The war in Ukraine started in 2014, as both NATO’s Stoltenberg and Ukraine’s Zelensky have said. It was started in February 2014 by a U.S. coup which replaced the democratically elected and neutralist President with a U.S. selected and rabidly anti-Russian leader, who immediately imposed an ethnic-cleansing program to get rid of the residents in the regions that had voted overwhelmingly for the overthrown President. Russia responded militarily on 24 February 2022 in order to prevent Ukraine from allowing the U.S. to place a missile there a mere 317 miles or five minutes of missile-flying-time away from The Kremlin and thus too brief for Russia to respond before its central command would already be beheaded by America’s nuclear strike. The U.S. had demanded this, especially because it will place American nuclear missiles far nearer to The Kremlin than at present, only 507 miles away — not as close as Ukraine, but the closest yet.)
