Riyadh: Al-Tabiya

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, met today in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, with Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki.

The Chairman of the Sovereignty Council briefed the Eritrean President on the developments of the situation in Sudan and the violations and crimes committed by the terrorist rebel Rapid Support militia against the state, the destruction of infrastructure and its commission of humanitarian atrocities against civilians, reiterating the government’s keenness and tireless pursuit of finding solutions to this crisis through its participation in the Jeddah platform, which Sponsored by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States of America, with the participation of the African Union and IGAD.
