What awesome news just coming in from Luxor, Egypt! Our Eritrean rider Meron Teshome just won the Gold medal in Individual Time Trial at this year's African Continental Championships. 

A better start in the season we never could imagine. It already is his second consecutive win after he also won the Team Time Trial 2 days ago with his Eritrean National team! Congrats Meron and now we cross fingers for Sunday's Road Race!

Bike Aid driver Teshome African champion in the time 

Luxor (rad-net) - Meron Teshome from the German Continental team Bike Aid is a new African champion in the single-time race. The Eritreer returned the 43 kilometers around the Egyptian Luxor in 53:16 minutes, 26 seconds faster than Stefan de Bod (South Africa / Dimension Data for Qhubeka).
