A panel of scholars and area experts will explore ways to bring about lasting peace to the war-ravaged Horn of Africa this weekend at a workshop organized as part of the 2018 Eritrean Festival in Washington, D.C.
The program, titled “The Horn of Africa: The Quest for Peace Continues,” is set for this Saturday, July 21, 2018, from 1 to 3pm, at 332 Hawaii Avenue, NE, Washington, D.C. 20017.
Serving on the panel will be: Mr. Andargachew Tsige, head of the secretariat, and member of the executive committee of Ginbot 7; Prof. Asmerom Legesse, noted anthropologist and historian; and Prof. Habtamu Gudo, professor of journalism.
