The 2024 Forum on China-Africa Cooperation Summit will be held in Beijing from September 4 to 6, with the theme of "Joining Hands to Promote Modernization and Build a High-Level China-Africa Community with a Shared Future". China and Africa share a common vision of achieving modernization, face common development tasks, and have similar ideas and goals.

In March 2013, President Xi Jinping visited Africa for the first time after taking office as President of China. He delivered a speech entitled "Always Be Reliable Friends and Sincere Partners" at the Julius Nyerere International Conference Center in Tanzania, and first proposed the concept of "China-Africa Community with a Shared Future". Since then, the concept of sincerity, real results, affinity and good faith has been like a beacon, continuously guiding the steady and long-term development of China-Africa relations.
True means being sincere, friendly and genuine.
As the world's largest developing country, and Africa, the continent with the highest concentration of developing countries, China is a reliable partner, a sincere friend, and a community with a shared future that shares weal and woe and struggles side by side.
