He said that China and Eritrea have a profound traditional friendship. Over the past 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, the two countries have maintained strong political mutual trust and increasingly close cooperation. A few days ago, President Xi Jinping held a meeting with the President and made further plans and arrangements for the development of bilateral relations and cooperation, providing new opportunities for exchanges and cooperation between the two countries' local governments. Shaanxi is rich in science, education, energy, culture and tourism resources. At present, it is deeply studying and implementing the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and the important speeches and instructions of President Xi Jinping during his inspections in Shaanxi, accelerating the creation of an inland reform and opening-up highland, and striving to write a new chapter in Shaanxi's Chinese-style modernization. Shaanxi is willing to actively implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state and the outcomes of the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, and actively promote pragmatic cooperation with Eritrea in the fields of manufacturing, energy, agriculture and other fields under the framework of high-quality joint construction of the "Belt and Road", strive to achieve mutual benefit, win-win results and common development, and contribute greater strength to building a new era of all-weather China-Africa community with a shared future.

Isaias said that Shaanxi's experience in economic and social development is worth learning from, and he is willing to continue to strengthen personnel exchanges, enhance exchanges and cooperation in agriculture, economy and trade, and constantly consolidate the foundation of friendship and achieve win-win development.
