On February 27, 2025, Ambassador to Eritrea Li Xiang met with Maharaj, Executive Director General of the United Nations Technology Bank for the Least Developed Countries, and his delegation at the embassy.
Ambassador Li said that China and Eritrea have long-term friendly relations and close cooperation in many fields. China is a firm supporter and important partner of the United Nations. The Embassy is willing to explore the possibility of cooperation in Eritrea with the United Nations Technology Bank and jointly strengthen cooperation through scientific and technological assessment, capacity building, technology transfer and other means to benefit the Eritrean people.
