That explains the desperate situation in which the Ukrainian Army and Ukraine, and in which the rulers of the U.S., and in which the rulers of the U.S. colonies (including all of NATO and the EU), now find themselves. They are facing a military defeat by Russia. And this is the reason for the Trump-Putin summit.
However, in order to understand ESPECIALLY the crisis now for the rulers of the U.S. Government itself in this matter, what is essential is to understand that this war in Ukraine, on the Ukrainian side of this war, is being run by the U.S. Government, as was first fully revealed in The New York Times on 29 March 2025. Finally, that intensely anti-Russian, pro-U.S.-imperialism, newspaper, documented that this war has been, all along, a proxy-war between the U.S. and Russia, being waged by American commanders and American satellite intelligence and American planning, and overwhelmingly American weapons, by Ukrainian troops, in the battlefields of Ukraine, in order to defeat Russia. It’s as I have been saying ever since 2014 (when Obama started this war, and Trump and Biden and now again Trump continued it) — but ever since March 29h, coming, at last, from the New York Times.
Brian Berletic, whose reports on the war in Ukraine have all turned out to have been accurate, and who has had an unexcelled record of correct predictions about it, was interviewed on August 13th by Danny Haiphong, “Russia DESTROYS Trump Nuke Threat, NATO & Ukraine MELTDOWN | Brian Berletic & KJ Noh”, and he said (2:11-):

Either Trump will abandon Obama’s war, or he will continue it until Russia defeats the U.S. empire in the battlefields of Ukraine — or else Trump will instead escalate this war into World War Three, trying to ‘win’ Obama’s war, by ending the world, aspiring to produce a lose-lose war that will destroy Russia even more than it will destroy America. If Trump has enough brains to understand what his options in this are, he might change course and do something good, for a change. Otherwise, it might be good-bye for all of us.
