Germany Again a Champion of Genocide

Right now, the biggest genocide that’s occurring is the one by Israel (backed mainly by the U.S. and Germany, but also by almost all other member-nations of the U.S. empire, including, of course, Israel itself), to get rid of the (originally) 2,100,000 Gazans. Only extreme proponents of the U.S. empire deny that it’s happening, but the evidence about this genocide is, by now, so voluminous, so that only by being blind or blindfolded can a person not see that it is indeed happening, by shooting, bombing, and starving-to-death, the Gazans. (Yet, the International Criminal Court still won’t say that it’s happening. That Court has been, and still is an accessory to this crime — an agency of the U.S. empire, even though the U.S. Government itself denounces it. It’s only a “good cop, bad cop” routine, to protect the perpetrators.) The U.N. must replace this Court, or else is itself a participant in the genocide, by means of the U.N.’s grossly shameful inaction, which reflects that, to a large extent, the U.N. is just another agency of the U.S. empire. Obviously, peaceful means to end a genocide are ludicrous, but this U.N. is, by virtue of its Truman-created Charter, limited only to that — only to being just a talking-forum, NOT the all-inclusive global federation of nations and exclusive source and representative and enforcer of international law, as the U.N.’s inventor and initial planner, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, had been INTENDING it to be.) 

And, so, Germany is one of the two main co-conspirators along with Israel itself (Germany is supplying 30% of the arms, along with its post-WW2 master the U.S., which is supplying 69% — plus supplying 100% of the satellite guidance intelligence), in this ongoing massacre of the Gazan people, according to the Government owned “Deutche Welle” network, on 24 July 2024. They cited SIPRI as their source for the 30% and 69% figures. That German news-report also mentioned:

Earlier this year, the European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights (ECCHR) filed a lawsuit against the German government with a local Berlin court in an attempt to stop arms exports to Israel.

The ECCHR filed its suit alongside five Palestinians in Gaza whose relatives were killed by Israeli rocket attacks. In June, the court rejected the case on the grounds that the German government had complied with the law and international obligations at the time it had authorized the exports. …

Human rights lawyer Alexander Schwarz told DW there was "reasonable grounds to believe" Israel was committing war crimes in Gaza with the kind of weapons it is getting from Germany. …

Schwarz is deputy program director of the International Crimes and Accountability Program at the European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights (ECCHR). The organization is suing the government before a federal court in Berlin, hoping to stop the weapon exports. …

Israel has denied committing war crimes, insisting it was targeting Hamas militants. Hamas is labeled as a terror group by the US, the EU, and others [the rest of the U.S. empire]. …

The human rights lawyer said that Israel had an "inherent right" to self defense.

“The human rights lawyer” did not challenge nor object to Israel’s statement that the non-Hamas Palestinian corpses which were being produced by German weapons and Israeli troops in Gaza were merely unintended deaths as were the injuries to civilians and damage to civilian objects, which Israel said are a mere side effect of a lawful attack on a legitimate military target, which they claim to be Hamas — NOT the Gazans. However, the applicable “principle of proportionality” in international law prohibits attacks “which may be expected to cause incidental loss of civilian life, injury to civilians, damage to civilian objects, or a combination thereof, which would be excessive in relation to the concrete and direct military advantage anticipated.” Is 100-to-1, 100 Gazans killed for each Hamas killed, “excessive”? (International law isn’t written with clearly defined terms; it is merely a trick written so as to enable the powerful to get away with impunity.) Inasmuch as the 2.1 million Gazans who are being slaughtered by Israel, U.S., and Germany, in Gaza, constitute at least 100 non-combatant Gazans killed for each 1 Hamas member killed, only fools, such as the U.S. empire’s agencies such as the ECCHR and its ‘human rights lawyer Alexander Schwarz’, take at face value the Israeli regime’s blatant lie that those 100 non-Hamas corpses for every one Hamas corpse constitute merely “collateral damage” instead of actually targeted victims of this Israel-German-U.S. extermination campaign to get rid of all Gazans — which it so OBVIOUSLY is: genocide by Israel, America, and Germany.

And, as far as the ECCHR’s lawsuit (it’s not even a trial for any war CRIME) is concerned, it hasn’t yet been ruled on, but will inevitably be denied, because already on 30 April 2024, America’s National Public Radio (NPR) had headlined “A top U.N. court won't order Germany to halt weapons exports to Israel” and reported

BERLIN — The International Court of Justice has refused to order Germany to stop sending weapons and aid to Israel, rejecting a request from Nicaragua.

Nicaragua brought the case arguing that by providing arms and other support to Israel, Germany is failing to prevent possible genocide against Palestinians in Israel's war with Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

In a vote 15-1 Tuesday, the ICJ judges said in a preliminary ruling that, based on the legal arguments presented, the requirements were not met to issue such an order.

The German Foreign Ministry reacted to the decision on social media saying, "Nobody is above the law. This guides our actions. We welcome today's decision of the International Court of Justice."

So, even after WW2, and the Nuremberg Tribunals, and the Truman-controlled creation of a pathetic U.N. Charter, the so-called “International Court of Justice” has already ruled by 15 to 1 that what Israel is doing in Gaza is legal.

And the world is supposed to respect this U.N.? Who does, any longer? Its Charter is a bad joke, containing more legal holes than Swiss cheese contains air. Even genocide is acceptable in it. This isn’t rule by the U.N., regarding international laws; it is rule by the U.S. empire, regarding its own “rules-based international order”: whatever it wants. That’s why I call it “America’s Empire of Evil.”

The astoundingly knowledgeable Alexander Mercouris provides on September 4th a video commentry whose first 25 minutes documents (starting at 16:30) that America’s neoconservatives such as U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham and his “bone crushing anti-Russia sanctions” bill’s 80 Senate cosigners (out of the 100 Senators) have pushed the U.S. President to do things that have (by their mistake) driven Russia and China even closer together, and that U.S.-and-allied (Deep State — i.e., billionaires-controlled) ‘news’-media blame for this result NOT the neoconservatives who have almost forced Trump to do this, but Trump, for not cooperating with it fully. And the U.S.-and-allied ‘news’-media (which had helped to bring this result about) are now fuming that Trump isn’t as neocon as the vast majority of the U.S. Senate are. Mercouris documents this insane blindness to reality, that the neocons have. Unfortunately, U.S.-and-allied publics get their ‘news’, directly and indirectly, from such rabidly, insanely, imperialistic ‘news’-media, which blame others (less neocon than they are) for results that they themselves have largely helped to produce. The level of detail that Mercouris can bring to his commentary is simply amazing. His memory holds everything, so that he can extemporize from it a detailed timeline, all of which is true and clearly makes sense.. Commentary like that is virtuosic. My only exception to it is that whereas Mercouris attributes Putin’s decision to invade Ukraine on 24 February 2022 to somewhat vague concerns that Putin had had about “the expansion of NATO,” Putin made quite clear at the opening of his speech to the nation that day, that the invasion had to be done because “the eastward expansion of NATO … is moving its military infrastructure ever closer to the Russian border”, and I documented there that what he was actually referring to there was that America was, in fact, intending to place its nuclear missiles ("military infrastructire") at the Ukraine border a mere 300 miles or five minutes of missile-flying time away from blitz decapitating Russia’s central command in The Kremlin. (Putin often speaks in such veiled terms, but the problem with Ukraine specifically being admitted into NATO is that it would enable America to place its nukes far closer to The Kremlin than any other Russia-bordering nation would: Ukraine is the nearest of all nations to The Kremlin; so, Russia simply won’t allow Ukraine into NATO — no more than in 1962 JFK would have allowed the U.S.S.R’s missiles into Cuba, but Khrushchev was decent, whereas Obama Biden and Trump are not and therefore ultimately forced Russia to invade Ukraine in order to prevent that.)
