Momanyi, born in 2000, who already took first place in the Trieste Spring Run last May, prevailed over his compatriots Simon Dudi Ekidor (1:03:20) and Rodgers Maiyo (1:03:46). The men's podium was entirely Kenyan, with Dudi Ekidor posting a remarkable comeback to finish second. The winner ran at a pace of around three minutes per kilometer.

Daniel's success among the women was valuable and significant. Followed by Massimo Magnani, she was making her debut at the 21.097-kilometer distance. Born in 2001, she is a remarkable athlete: she holds the Eritrean national records in the 5,000 meters (14:36.66) and the 10,000 meters (30:12.15). She set the latter time in 2022 in Eugene at the World Athletics Championships, where she finished fifth. Her debut in the half marathon was more than promising. Daniel, who ran at a pace of 3:30 per kilometer, dominated the race: second place, Kenyan Mercy Jebichii, finished 5 minutes behind her (1:18:48), while third place, Ethiopian Betelhem Tenaw, was more than 6 minutes behind (1:20:03). The latter still competes among the U23s (born in 2005).
