While the athletes competed fiercely in the stage where there were three difficult climbing points, they pedaled a total distance of approximately 325 kilometers in 3 days. Beyond being just a sports event, the organization, which also contributed to the promotion of Mersin's cultural and natural beauties, was met with intense interest from the public in the settlements along the route.
Stefan De Bod finished the 3rd stage of the race in first place with a time of 3 hours, 18 minutes and 29 seconds, while Dawit Yemane came in second with a time of 3 hours, 18 minutes and 49 seconds, and Lennert Teugels came in third with a time of 3 hours, 18 minutes and 54 seconds. At the award ceremony held after the stage, medals were presented to the athletes by the Vice President of the Turkish Cycling Federation Fikret Hayali. The jerseys were presented by the Deputy Secretary General of the Mersin Metropolitan Municipality Serdal Gökayaz and other protocol members.
Mersin Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Ali Uyan wished success to all athletes competing and emphasized that the Metropolitan Municipality always stands by sports and athletes. Deputy Secretary General Serdal Gökayaz stated that the stage was completed without any problems and thanked all athletes participating.
Stefan De Bod, who finished the stage first and retained the yellow jersey in the general classification, stated that the course was enjoyable and that they would do their best to retain the yellow jersey as a team. Bod, who stated that it was his first time in Mersin, expressed that he was amazed by Türkiye's food and hospitality.
Ayvagediği residents also expressed their satisfaction with the organization and stated that the event added liveliness to their plateaus and contributed to the promotion of the beauties of Mersin. The citizens thanked Mersin Metropolitan Municipality and Mayor Vahap Seçer for the organization.
