His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs met with His Excellency Osman Saleh Mohammed, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Eritrea, where both sides emphasized the importance of continuing communication between the relevant authorities in the two countries to develop trade and investment cooperation, explore partnership opportunities in the areas of food security, fisheries and logistics, and encourage private sector initiatives to expand mutual economic benefits.

The two ministers discussed the latest developments in the Horn of Africa and the Red Sea region, exchanging views on supporting regional stability, addressing the causes of tension through direct dialogue between regional parties, and reducing foreign interference.
