Dear President Obama,
My name is ______________ and I am ____ years old Eritrean-American and I
attend (school name and grade) (city and State).
Dear Mr. President, I am writing you this personal letter because I have a concern about my home county Eritrea. I read that the United Nations imposed sanctions on Eritrea on December 23, 2009. And I feel it is UNJUST and ILLEGAL to sanction a country without any verifiable evidence.
I am now urging you through this letter to give it your undivided attention and let JUSTICE be served. I am hopeful that you will do so as I am anxious to see a good relationship to develop between by home country, Eritrea and my country the United States of America.
During your election, we were so ecstatic in school and we celebrated all day when you got elected as a President. We are still rooting for you and we are confident that you can solve any perceived or real differences that may exist between Eritrea & the United States.
Sincerely,
(Your Name and signature)
