The rider Maekele Milkiyas won in a sprint, the Grand Prix of Sakiet Sidi Youcef, contested Saturday, over a distance of 122 km, between Sakiet Sidi Youcef and Guelma, as part of the Tour d'Algérie Cycliste 2025.

Maekele Milkiyas of the Eritrean national team covered the distance in (3h00'09), ahead of the two Algerian riders, Yacine Hamza (Team Madar pro-cycling) who posted the same time and Mohamed Nadjib Assal of MC Alger (MT).

Eighty (80) riders representing 14 teams took part in this Grand Prix. The 2025 Tour of Algeria will begin this Sunday with the first stage Guelma – Constantine (103.2 km).
