Ever since Israel’s all-out war against Iran started on June 13th, a number of geostrategic analysts have been saying that this will not be a quick war which Israel will win (such as Israel’s Mossad expected) but a long war, a “war of attrition” in which the winner will be the side that has the better staying-power so as to wear out the other side’s military stockpiles and weapons-manufacturing capability, like happened in WW2 and most other important wars — in which case Iran will win (like the Soviet Union -- backed by FDR's lend-lease -- defeated Hitler). The Allies would have lost WW2 without the Soviet forces and without America’s lend-lease supplies to them (which enabled Sovet forces to defeatt Hitler). (UK and the Western front were merely a side-show, though the U.S. empire, especially NATO and the EU, allege that the U.S. and Europe defeated Hitler — a Big Lie that Hitler would have been proud of, because NATO itself took up and continued Hitler’s imperialism.)
One of the analysts who have been saying since June 13th that this Israel-Iran war will be a war of attrition that Israel will lose unless America starts bombing Iran, was Alexander Mercouris; and now he says that Israel is finally acknowedging that this is true. Another such analyst is Scott Ritter, who shares that opinion, and he says that “Iran is on a path of strategic victory against Israel.”
NATO is controlled by the U.S. Government, and NATO’s main propaganda arm is the Atlantic Council, which is funded by America and its colonies (‘allies’) and their energy companies, manufacturers, and think tanks, as well as by NATO itself. Its largest individual donor has probably been Adrienne Arsht, a lawyer who has always sought to increase the size of America’s empire, especially in Latin America (despite the North Atlantic Treaty Organization having no member there). Ten years ago, only corporate and Governmental donors were listed, and among them were The Scowcroft Group, Lockheed Martin, European Aeronautic Defense and Space Company, SAAB, SAIC, Thompson Reuters, Chevron, Barclays, Bloomberg, CocaCola, The Blackstone Group, Raytheon, Kirkland & Ellis, LexisNexis, BP, Mitsubishi, ExxonMobil, Northrop Grumman, Random House, GE, General Dynamics, Microsoft, ConocoPhillips, ColgatePalmolive, Bertelmann Foundation, MacArthur Foundation, Carnegie Corporation, and Ploughshares Fund, and, of course, U.S.-allied Governments, just as examples of them. One may reasonably assume that all of them are profiting by their neoconservatism — funding and advocacy for the U.S. empire’s military-industrial complex and its forever-wars. Of course, how that happens is not simple to explain, but they know it. Donald Trump knows that he represents them, just as Joe Biden did, and all U.S. Presidents after FDR have done.
On June 19th, the Atlantic Council headlined “If diplomacy and Israel’s efforts fall short, Trump should bomb Fordow to end the war”. NATO is urging Trump to, as John McCain famously urged, “Bomb, bomb, bomb, Iran!” The NATO article says “Bombing what remains of Iran’s nuclear program that Israel lacks the capability to destroy, most prominently Fordow, should be the only focus of US military action in Iran—and only taken if Netanyahu agrees to end the war.” However, the only weapons that can reach down so deep as the key Fordow plant are nuclear. Trump will have to launch a nuclear war in order to prevent Israel’s defeat. It seems that all of America’s billionaires want him to do it, and, of course the ones who had funded his political career and political wins both times are especially determined that he must do it. If he won’t, then Israel itself probaby will. At that point, for the United States to be continuing to back Israel would be suicidal to America’s international reputation. Israel will have won, but will be hated everywhere but inside the U.S. empire, and, because of the Israel lobby’s constant pro-Israeli propaganda saying that to be anti-Israel is to be an anti-Semite, Jews — even anti-Israeli ones — throughout the world will suffer soaring anti-Semitism, equating “Jews” as BEING Israelis. The Zionists will, in effect, have destroyed Judaism itself.
That is NATO’s opinion, and Israel isn’t even in the territory of NATO.
Trump is faced with two unpalatable options: allow Israel to be defeated by Iran, or else commit America 100% to preventing that, at the expense of any moral credibility that the United States will have outside its empire in the years going forward.

The U.S. empire is looking at a strategic defeat by Russia in the U.S. empire’s war to defeat Russia in the battlefields of Ukraine, and now is looking at an even sooner strategic defeat against Iran in the battlefields of both Israel and Iran that America and Israel had started by their invasion of Iran on June 13th.
The reason why Ukraine will be defeated is that Trump decided NOT to go nuclear for Ukraine — Russia’s nuclear arsenal is even larger than America’s; and, so, the neocons’ insane idea of pre-emptively blitz-invading The Kremlin to overthrow Russia’s Government, and ‘win’ a WW3 by suffering less damage than Russia would, has become too obviously unrealistic.
Regarding America’s war against Iran, this will be the end of the U.S. empire (because of the then-widespread hatred of America if the U.S. will bomb there) if Trump decides to use a nuke against Iran, or else it wil be the end of the U.S. empire (because of America’s defeat there) if he won’t do that. Trump’s recent expression of contempt for his own Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard suggests he wants Israel to win regardless of the costs.
On 25 July 1945, the U.S. took up Hitler’s fallen banner of aiming for world-conquest and has been flying it till now, but won’t be any more successful at achieving it than Hitler was. The U.N. needs to be reformed so as to be able for it to achieve what its inventor, FDR, had been intending it to be — the replacement of any and all empires (instead of Truman’s passion to create the world’s first-ever all-inclusive empire).
Starting on 25 July 1945, the U.S. Government, in taking up Hitler’s banner, ‘justified’ it as being necessary in order to answer Russian “aggression” and expansion of its ‘empire’, though there actually wasn’t any addition to Russia’s territory until Russia finally invaded Ukraine in February 2022 so as to prevent U.S. nukes from ever being placed there. This was vitally necessary to protect the national security of the Russian people. The imperialist is (and since 25 July 1945 has been) the U.S., not Russia. This is known outside the U.S. empire, but is kept secret inside it.
Consequently, for example, America’s Democratic Party billionaires’ CNN propaganda agency headlined on June 20th, “Xi and Putin present united front over Israel-Iran crisis, in veiled message to Trump” and opened:
China and Russia positioning themselves as voices of reason, calling for de-escalation of a conflict the United States is contemplating on entering — these are the optics Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin sought to project during a phone call on Thursday.
As US President Donald Trump weighs joining Israel in attacking Iran, the fast-spiralling conflict between two sworn enemies in the Middle East has presented Beijing and Moscow another opportunity to cast themselves as an alternative to US power.
In their call, Putin and Xi strongly condemned Israel’s actions, calling them a breach of the UN Charter and other norms of international law, according to the Kremlin. (The elephant in the room, of course, is Russia’s own violations of international law in its ongoing war against Ukraine — which Beijing has consistently refused to condemn.)
However, that allegation “(The elephant in the room, of course, is Russia’s own violations of international law in its ongoing war against Ukraine —” is blatantly false, because Ukraine, under international law, has even less of a right to allow U.S. nuclear missiles to be positioned a mere five-minute missile-flying distance away from Moscow than Cuba in the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis had to position Soviet nuclear missiles a mere 13 minute missile flying distance away from Washington DC, and no one at that time was alleging that Washington would have been acting aggressively by demanding it not to be done. This is the way that Hitler’s propagandists, and now America’s propagandists, deceive their publics.
Note also that the CNN propaganda-agency ignored that Israel’s invasion of Iran on June 13th WAS a violation of international law, and that if America overtly joins in with Israel’s war-crime, then the U.S. ALSO will be committing war-crime. However, if Russia will then nuke America, that WOULDN’T be violation of international law, but instead would be legal because allowed by the U.N. Charter’s Article 51, which permits “collective self-defense.”
The U.S. regime is like Hitler and Goebbels wrapped into one.
