Here’s how billionaires control the U.S. Government.

The fact that billionaires control the U.S. Government is so well-documented by now, the only people who still deny it are ones who are either lying and assuming their audience to be idiots, or else they are themselves idiots.

Here is just one example of the latter (assuming the audience to be idiots — and constantly winning election and re-election on that basis):

The interviewee there is one of the 100 members of the U.S. Senate, and he has been a Senator ever since 2012; so, this is one of the most powerful individuals in the U.S. Prior to being in the Senate, he had, as a student at Princeton, won the top award in America as a debater; so, his performance in this interview reflects his skill at that craft, NOT as a policy-maker to serve the interests of the public as a U.S. Government official (but instead to fool the most people in order to win their votes). If this performance is a test of expertise or of his competency, then it is so as a test of his skill at fooling and manipulating the most dumb people — more of them than his competitors do.

That’s the problem; the problem is institutionalized corruption. It is not merely a personal problem; it doesn’t pertain only to that Senator, nor to that policy-issue; it is an institutional problem. It can’t be fixed by changing merely the personnel. It can be fixed ONLY by changing the Governmental system. Here is my proposed solution to this problem (a problem that is enormously bigger than the specific issue that is being debated there) — to end it; to solve it — to solve the problem of corruption in Government. It is an international problem — not unique to only the U.S.

The reason why the richest .01% of the richest .01% of Americans control the U.S. Government is that the richest .01% of the richest .01% of Americans donate to political candidates more than half of all of the money that is donated to politicians. Whenever they don’t like a candidate’s policies, they swamp that candidate with donations to the person’s opponent who DOES sell-out the most to the top .01% of the top .01% of America’s wealth-holders. It is the privatization of the U.S. government. (It was, for example, the reason why the Presidential-primaries candidate U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders, who had the highest net-approval rating by Democrats at the beginning of the 2020 Presidential primary contests got swamped by the 8-percent-lower-scoring Biden because Sanders had zero billionaire backers while Biden had many: the contest thus became ultimately settled in South Carolina by a contest in deceitfulness — which Biden won by a landslide — NOT a contest between policy-positions.) That is why America’s Government represents its billionaires, NOT its public. The public are there merely in order for them to be fooled by the billionaires while the Government can still (though it is a lie) call itself a “democracy.”
