Trump Declares Russia in Ukraine Threatens U.S. National Security

On Friday, February 28th, U.S. President Donald Trump issued an Executive Order “Continuation of the National Emergency With Respect to Ukraine”, to continue for at least another year America’s sanctions against Russia because of the “extraordinary threat to the national security and foreign policy of the United States” from Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, which is 317 miles distant from Russia’s central command in The Kremlin (so that a U.S. nuclear missile there would be only 5 minutes away from decapitating Russia’s central command) and 4,300 miles away from America’s central command in Washington DC.
Ukraine is the nearest of all countries to Russia’s central command, which is the reason why Russia invaded Ukraine — to prevent any possibility that America will ever become able to place a nuclear missile there. Back in 1962, the Cuban Missile Crisis, America’s JFK told Russia’s Khrushchev that if Russia might place a nuclear missile in Cuba, which is 1,131 miles distant from DC, then America would invade Cuba to prevent that possibility, and so Khrushchev agreed with JFK that Russia would stop its preparations for placing a nuclear missile in Cuba if America would remove its nuclear missiles from Turkey, which were 1,292 miles away from The Kremlin — and that agreement between the two of them, not to place a missile so close to the other side’s central command, prevented a U.S. invasion to take over Cuba.
Russia on numerous occasions had warned America that Russia would never tolerate Ukraine joining NATO, but Obama — after failing in 2010 to get Ukraine’s Yanukovych to seek Ukraine’s membership in NATO (which the vast majority of Ukrainians considered to be Ukraine’s enemy, no friend at all, and so doing that would have been vigorously opposed by his own people) — started, by no later than June 2011, to plan a coup for the U.S. Government to take Ukraine, and it culminated in Obama’s February 2014 overthrow of Yanukovych and installation of a U.S.-appointed rabidly anti-Russian government. On 15 December 2021, Russia demanded both America and its NATO anti-Russian military alliance to stop their plan, but on 7 January 2022, both America and NATO said no. Russia invaded Ukraine on 24 February 2022.
Trump’s Executive Order closes by saying, “Therefore, in accordance with section 202(d) of the National Emergencies Act (50 U.S.C. 1622(d)), I am continuing for 1 year the national emergency declared in Executive Order 13660.” 50 U.S.C. 1622(d) became U.S. law in 1947 under President Truman, who had decided on 25 July 1945 that America must ultimately conquer Russia. Executive Order 13660 was issued by President Obama on 6 March 2014, right after his coup, but before Crimea broke away from Ukraine on account of his coup.
Trump thus continues Obama’s policy, which was itself an important step forward in the plan that Truman started activating in 1947 when he transformed what had been the trulhy defensive Founders’ War Department into the present imperial aggressive ‘Defense’ Department (thus anticipating the “Newspeak” in George Orwell’s 1948 novel 1984), and when he transformed FDR’s OSS into the CIA so as to perpetrate coups and otherwise non-militarily extend the U.S. into the vast U.S. empire that exists today.
Whereas Russia faces an actual national emergency from America, Trump’s Executive Order of 28 February 2025 continues the ‘national emergency’ that Obama started on 6 March 2014 right after he grabbed Ukraine and thereby produced an authentic national emergency in Russia. In Obama’s U.S. ‘national emergency’ the focus and ‘emergency’ is against Russia’s defending itself against America’s aggression — that is actually what Obama-Trump declare to constitute for America a national emergency — this ‘emergency’ is Russia’s taking necessary defensive actions that had been forced upon it by America’s Government. America and its colonies (‘allies’) call Russia’s necessary defensive actions “aggression.”
