How Democrats & Bernie Sanders Continue to Lie About Ukraine’s War

On February 18th, “Democracy Now” headlined “‘A Victory for Putin’? Jeffrey Sachs & Matt Duss Debate U.S.-Russia Talks to End Ukraine War”, and Matt Duss, who was Senator Bernie Sanders’s foreign-affairs advisor and is highly regarded by Beltway Democrats, disputed the truthfulness of the 100% truthful summary that Sachs had just presented about what caused the war and where the blame for it goes — 100% to the U.S. and its ‘allies’ (colonies) (and especially to Barack Obama and Joe Biden). Here is the opening:

Minsk 2 agreement, and the failure of the

with President Putin in December 2021

2022. I was, uh, uh personally involved in,

uh, watching closely all of those events

over the past 30 years. This war never

should have happened, uh, it could have

been averted at many times it could have

ended in negotiation in March 2022

saving the lives of hundreds of

thousands of ukrainians. The

ukrainians walked away from the table

because the British and the Americans

told them to. This is so tragic, and

everyone will understand this as the

historians I make all of this very clear.

I again, I flew to Ankara in the spring

of 2022, to understand exactly how these

negotiations had broken down, and the

United States and Britain were behind it

Europe security. They're using Ukraine,

this is the bottom line, so what's

happening, in short, in Saudi Arabia, is

the most positive news for

Ukrainians that there has been in

provocations need to stop so this war

He said it's illegal. This was a

declaration of the Ukrainian government,

so the government of Ukraine sadly,

really unwisely, uh, I've tried many many

times to explain to them they ruled out

negotiations they ruled them out until

today — this is tragic for them. Now they

say we want a seat at the table they

said we don't want any table all along,

and Zelensky rules by martial law by

decree, when the opinion survey show that

a majority of Ukrainians want peace

right now, even at the cost of

territorial concessions. So, my bottom

line, uh, Amy, is that while the Trump

Administration does some pretty weird

things like

demanding uh mineral rights, this is

absurd, this is completely bizarre. At the

same time, uh, the Trump Administration,

for the first time [ever since Ukraine’s war started in 2014] is telling the truth

about the fundamental causes of this war

and how it can end, and that is the best

news possible for Ukraine first and

8:38

foremost, and for the United States, for

8:40

Russia, and for the world, that peace

could come to Ukraine very very shortly.

So, this, I think, is is the bottom line

um, as as being seen as [BUT IT IS, not just ‘seems’ — he lies there] a threat to

Russia that is real [meaning that he KNOWS he lied there, that however does

uh to illegally [only if JFK in the Cuban Missile Crisis would have been the aggressor to invade Cuba if the U.S.S.R didn’t remove its missiles from there — which he WOULDN’T] invade annex and occupy

parts of Ukraine. Vladimir Putin himself

has told us multiple times what his

vision for Ukraine is [TRUE] and that's to

retake Ukraine [FALSE] and make it once again

warn against seeing, um, you know, Vladimir

Putin as some kind of innocent victim

of American machinations here, which is

the story that Professor Sachs seems to

be trying to tell.

Democrats in America refuse to acknowledge that their Presidents Obama and Biden are to blame for the coup in Ukraine and for the war there that they started and have constantly refused to allow to end. The Democratic Party therefore needs now to be replaced by an authentically progressive-populist new political Party, and I hereby nominate to become its leaders both Jeffrey Sachs and Douglas Macgregor — both of whom would make a perfect ticket (in either order), to create the replacement for the Democratic Party. I suggest it be called the Progressive-Populist Party, and that it be themed to be a continuation of FDR’s priorities and goals, to become restored to America.
